Welcome to the Year 11 Spring Newsletter.

It has been another busy term and it’s encouraging to see the number of students joining after school revision classes in preparation for their GCSE examinations, which will soon be upon us! There is a ‘Revision not Panic Room’ for students wishing to streamline their revision plans that takes place every Tuesday lunchtime in SC02. We are very mindful of just how stressful this period in school can be for Year 11. In order to help students with this, there are also relaxation sessions taking place in the Well Being suite with Nurse Dylis.

Dear Parent/Carer

You are invited to our Year 9 Option Choices Evening on Thursday 4 February. The purpose of the evening is to provide information to help your son/daughter choose the courses they will study in Years 10 and 11. It is the main opportunity for parents/carers to visit subject areas and discuss course details with specialist teachers and is, therefore, a key evening on the school calendar.
