Joshua Capper has raised money for the Children’s Ward at the BRI by swimming Lake Windermere, which Josh admitted was a very big challenge because eight months ago he couldn’t swim!
After a fantastic year of supporting his local community and fundraising, Joshua has been nominated for a Community Stars Award presented by the Lord Mayor.
The Community Stars Awards champion all those who deserve recognition for their selfless, brave or generous actions during the past year and provide an opportunity to honour the men, women and children who have touched lives.
Joshua is very modest about his achievements so we have taken it upon ourselves to ask for your votes. You can vote via the ‘People can make a difference’ website http://fans.vote/v/ACnWadPClm4 or download the form below. Entries must be received by the 2 December 2016.
All the nominees deserve recognition but let’s help Joshua receive a well-deserved award for all his fundraising and community support. The glittering ceremony is going to be held on 7 December at the Midland Hotel Bradford.
Good luck Joshua
