The Reval machines that allow pupils to load money onto their accounts have been updated. This now allows both new and old £1 coins and £5 notes to be used.

Employers from a variety of business sectors will visit TSS to offer valuable advice to students to help them make better choices on their next steps in education. Our Next Steps event, in partnership with Bradford Pathways will be held on 17 January 2017, 6.30-8.15pm. Students and parents of Year 9 and Year 11 are invited to attend this information, advice and guidance event, outlining career opportunities in the area.

The event will showcase businesses from the healthcare, administration, finance, IT, HR, creative media, and construction sectors, including speakers from Lloyds Pharmacy Group, HMRC, Pulse Radio, Yorkshire Water and the Construction Industry Council, along with a Denys Salt Sixth Form representative, careers advice from Prospects and information about apprenticeships from Shipley College.

The businesses involved will discuss how job roles are changing and what the future employment picture will look like in Bradford and West Yorkshire. Each will give advice on the kinds of roles and careers that will be available and the qualifications and skills that young people need to be successful in them.

Running for the second year, this event’s aim is to open students' eyes to the many different career paths available to them and to help them to make the right choice in their GCSE or Post-16 options. TSS is committed to helping students prepare for their next steps and welcomes the chance to work with local businesses and education providers to enable students to confidently move forward.
