Holly Waxman, Year 9 has been selected to represent Great Britain next month in the 7 Nations Youth Diving competition in France. This comes on the back of Holly being ranked 2nd junior diver in the country – and ranked higher than Rio Olympian Lois Toulson  - after competing at the British Diving National Cup in February, a showcase of the best of British diving talent and used as a qualifier for the diving World Cup.

The National Cup competition has in the past featured the best divers in the country including Olympic Medallists such as Tom Daley, Dan Goodfellow, Jack Laugher and Chris Mears.

Deputy Headteacher, Simon Hawkins said, “This is an amazing achievement and we are all very proud of Holly; she is a great student and a world class diver.  We wish her the best in the 7 Nations Youth Diving Competition; her commitment, skill and standard are an inspiration.”
