Jade Buxton, Danyaal Hanif and Yakshina Mistry have beaten off stiff competition to take part in a prestigious four day STEM placement at the University College London. The UCL Year 11 Summer School will include a range of lectures and workshops in a variety of STEM subjects to introduce them to the different teaching and learning methods used at university and will conclude with a celebration ceremony on the final day.

Our pupils will work in small groups, each with a current UCL student working as their group leader. Student Ambassadors will also be available to answer any questions our pupils may have about studying at university and what London life is really like. Jade, Danyaal and Yakshina will travel to UCL on 15 August and will reside at UCL Halls of Residences until 18 August. There are only 120 places available on the programme for schools throughout the UK; this is an amazing achievement for them.
